Chris has been working as a photojournalist for the past six years. Born and raised In Allen Park, Michigan, Chris attended Abilene Christian University for two years before returning to Michigan. Chris stayed in the Detroit area for about a year before moving to New Orleans where he spent 31 years working for Shell Oil Co. Photography had always fascinated him, yet time was always a constraint while raising two very active boys with Shelly, his wife and partner of 32 years. As the boys grew older, he picked up the camera again and began photographing their sports careers from Junior High thru High School. In doing so, he began to get requests for photos from parents and then finally, he teamed up with Pelican Preps.com a branch of Rivals.com . This opened a door for Chris and his work was featured as the cover photo for the book "Hurricane Season" by Neal Thompson as well as many of the photos in the book. One of Chris' journalistic highlights was having several photos published in Sports Illustrated for a featured article. As a photographer shooting primarily High School Sports he is a regular contributing photographer for the Searcy Daily Citizen, The Arkansas Leader, Arkansas Varsity.com, and Rivals.com.
